  2. Research Assistant

    Institute for Mongolian, Buddhist and Tibetan Studies

    Responsibilities included:

    • Authored multiple chapters for a collective monograph, written as part of the project funded by the Russian Science Foundation
    • Published three articles in peer-reviewed journals, which cleared misunderstanding about some previously ignored aspects of the interaction of state and religion in Korea, such as the Japanese colonial religious policy and use of Buddhism as a tool in public diplomacy
    • Copy-edited and translated co-authored and senior researchers’ peer-reviewed papers, conference papers and book chapters before final drafts were sent to the publisher
